Hunt Mortgage Group Welcomes Paul Angle as MD

Hunt Mortgage Group welcomes Paul Angle as Managing Director. In this capacity, Angle will source and originate both agency and balance sheet loans on the West Coast. Based in Irvine, California, he will report to Bill Hyman, Senior Managing Director at Hunt Mortgage Group.

Most recently, he served CIBC World Markets as a Managing Director responsible for West coast originations. Before that, he spent three years at Freddie Mac as the Regional Managing Director. Los Angeles.

In 2008, he operated Greenbriar Realty Capital LLC, a commercial real estate consulting company that assisted owners of real estate in obtaining, modifying and extending loans during the recent real estate capital downturn. His previous ventures include management roles at Nomura Securities, Credit Suisse, LaSalle Bank and Column Financial.

“Paul is a seasoned commercial real estate finance professional with extensive experience and leadership in commercial mortgage origination,” commented Hyman. “He has a proven track record for success and had deep relationships with a broad client base. We are pleased to add someone with his knowledge and skills that can originate both agency and balance sheet loans.”

Angle obtained a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance from the University of South Carolina.
