Vince Calicchia Joins Amegy Bank of Texas

Amegy Bank of Texas recently announced that Vince Calicchia has joined the company as Business Banking Relationship Manager. In this capacity, Calicchia is in charge of the growth, retention, and expansion of the portfolio of business banking customers. He also offers SBA 504 and 7(a) to small business owners as part of Amegy Bank’s commitment to small business lending.

“My lending focus is supporting small businesses needing working capital, machinery and Vince Calicchia Amegy Bank of Texasequipment, and real estate funding for the acquisition or construction of their operating facilities,” Calicchia said.

Calicchia brings more than two decades of experience in community and commercial banking, with professional and personal roots established in Texas. Prior to joining Amegy Bank, he served as Regional Manager at Security State Bank where he headed an effort to expand the bank’s presence to north Houston. He also served similar roles at Woodforest National Bank, Wachovia Small Business Capital/Wells Fargo, and Sterling Bank.

Calicchia is a founding board member of the Community CDC where he advised in the business plan and licensing approval process during the formation of the company. He was president and currently is a board member of the Houston Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (HAGGL).
