Minnesota-based Alliance Bank is pleased to announce the hiring of Peter D. Guggisberg as Assistant Vice President, Commercial and Agricultural Lending located in New Ulm.
Guggisberg brings more than 14 years of experience in commercial and agricultural lending to his new role. His expertise includes credit analysis, loans, portfolio management, and consumer lending.
Before joining Alliance Bank, he spent nine years with Bank Midwest, where he served as Agricultural/Commercial Lender and as a Loan Specialist. Prior to that, he was a Loan Officer at United Prairie Bank in New Ulm.
In addition, he volunteers his time for the community. Currently, he serves on the board of directors of the New Ulm Sleepy Eye Hockey Association, New Ulm Area Youth Football, and the New Ulm Economic Development Authority. He is also a member of the New Ulm Jaycees, and the Sertoma Club of New Ulm.
Guggisberg earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
