First Capital Hires Central ABL Division Head

First Capital welcomes Jason Stewart as Senior Vice President, Regional Development Manager in its ABL Central Division. In his new role, Stewart will lead and manage the company’s office in Dallas and be responsible for all asset-based lending new business activity in Texas and the South Central market.

A Certified Public Accountant, Stewart brings 25 years of experience in all aspects of the Jason Stewart First Capitalcorporate finance industry. As an experienced financial professional, his expertise includes business development, underwriting, portfolio management, treasury, accounting, and operations. Before joining First Capital, he served as Managing Director for the asset-based lending division at Sun Trust Robinson Humphrey. He also served several financial institutions including Enerven Compression, CIT Energy, and he started his asset-based lending career with CIT Business Credit as Regional Underwriting Manager.

“Jason brings to First Capital a proven track record of success in the Texas market, especially in the oil and gas market, which will further enhance our product offering in the region,” stated John Curtis, EVP and ABL Central Division Manager.

Stewart earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
